We are excited to release a new feature in your Sitebuilder! Yola now has a forum widget called "Tal.ki Forum".

Forums can be very useful to encourage participation from your site visitors or to find out how people feel about something you might be interested in.

The Tal.ki Forum widget is really simple to add to your site! Here are the steps:

1. Go to the "Widgets" tab in the Sidebar, to the right of screen.
2. Drag and drop the Tal.ki Forum widget.
3. You can sign in using your existing login for Facebook, Google, Yahoo or others, so there's no need to create a new account.

For more information about Tal.ki and how it works, please feel free to visit their site: http://tal.ki/

We hope you enjoy using this newest addition to your Sitebuilder!

I think we all missed this.....Looks very easy to set up and very cool that people can sign in with just about any ID.....I don't know much about forums....I am wondering if they do a lot for a site concerning SEO...I know my site blog certainly did.

John, can you tell us more about the effect of your blog on SEO? One hears a lot about this effect, but we don't often get a chance to talk to a living witness. ;-) A couple of the things I've wondered about -- does it matter if the blog is on the home page, or can it be on a different page? and how long do entries have to be? will an entry of 3 or 4 sentences suffice, or does it have to be something more elaborate? Answers to these questions would be great!

Hmmmm im still not decided whether to use this for my sites forum.
Mainly because of the cost to upgrade to show all posts.
But its still a great addition to yola.
Well done Yola

The Tal.ki forum is indeed free. If you require more advanced features of the forum, then you will need to upgrade to a paid account.
