Forums can be very useful to encourage participation from your site visitors or to find out how people feel about something you might be interested in.
The Tal.ki Forum widget is really simple to add to your site! Here are the steps:
1. Go to the "Widgets" tab in the Sidebar, to the right of screen.
2. Drag and drop the Tal.ki Forum widget.
3. You can sign in using your existing login for Facebook, Google, Yahoo or others, so there's no need to create a new account.

I think we all missed this.....Looks very easy to set up and very cool that people can sign in with just about any ID.....I don't know much about forums....I am wondering if they do a lot for a site concerning SEO...I know my site blog certainly did.

Hmmmm im still not decided whether to use this for my sites forum.
Mainly because of the cost to upgrade to show all posts.
But its still a great addition to yola.

The Tal.ki forum is indeed free. If you require more advanced features of the forum, then you will need to upgrade to a paid account.

I just found the Tal.ki forum widget and added it to my site, however, ho hum after being told i'm the administrator blah blah and allowing it to have some kind of access to my email addy as part of the sign up process i came back only to find it telling me it had 'timed out' and the entire thing was gone from my site :( My site is not yet published i'm still building it and the forum was part of it......can anyone tell me why this would have just up and gooooooone.

I can't work out how to give other users administrator or moderator rights? Otherwise its great!

To add or remove a moderator on your Tal.ki Forum widget, please follow these instructions:
1. Login to your Tal.ki Forum widget
2. Go to the topic that you want to moderate.
3. Locate the person you want to enable moderation status, click on "Actions".
4. Select "Promote member to Moderator".
5. Navigate to "Forum Admin", click on "Members" to see the newly added moderator.
To remove a moderator:
1. Click on "Forum Admin".
2. Navigate to "Members".
3. Locate the person who you wish to remove moderator status.
4. Click on "demote: member".

- Click on "Actions" next to the person's name that you want to remove.
- Select the delete option to remove them from your forum.
