I've been discussing this with Stefan today but still I can't resolve it and it's beginning to get to me now. A site i've pretty much finished is landing on the ipad with an expanded quarter page instead of the full page. Here's the view i'm getting. Now. Ive tried different background and banner variations of contain, cover etc, turned off the CSS to see if that's causing a conflict but to no joy. The Template i've been using is Danube, and I use it quite a lot to build sites for clients as it's usually very adaptable. I've been pulling my hair out with this for 20 hours on and off now, and haven't had this issue in the past. So, here's an image of how it lands on the ipad. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Grant,

We've been unable to replicate this on our iPads. I also understand from the troubleshooting that occurred via live chat that you are able to replicate this with other styles. We wonder if you have a setting on your iPad creating this view. Have you had a chance to take a look on another device?

Here's what we all see:

Hi Laura, hope you're well. I've spent the weekend pulling my hair out over this as i've just built another site and i'm having the same issue. Right, ive now tested this on ipad air, ipad air 2, iphone 6 plus, a LG Smart phone running android and they all look like the first image when you land on the site after typing in the domain. I've ran tests on various test sites and they all agree with my view, they land showing the top right hand corner of the site.

I've sent this reply to the very helpful support staff to their message.

"So, why does every iPad test page show my sites as cut off? And just the 2 recent ones i'm working on? I've tried these sites on a friends iPad and iPhone and the same cut off when I initially open the page from entering the domain name.
I've tried adjusting my safari settings on my iPad and there's nothing more I can do, even cleaning out my cache.
This is what's shown on iPad Peek, same cut off.

Other sites i've built before the last week are responding fine and havent changed how they view on my iPad, but this last site i've built and one i'm working on now just isn't playing ball.

Also, when I load a NEW "Danube" template in the Sitebuilder, the bottom part of site, the turquoise panel is missing, have you removed it or is this another issue.

Find enclosed the site on iPadPeek."

Have to admit, other sites i've built prior to these two land fine. Full page on opening, but these latest two, one built in Danube and the other built on Vanguard don't want to play ball.

Grant,

I'm seeing it as you describe on an iPad mini, iOS: 8.1, connected via wi-fi via my own network. Haven't made connection directly through 3G or other broadcast facility. My ISP pumps this signal out via a wide area wifi rural network through their cellular network infrastructure, not cable.

I'm seeing it the same with Safari and Chrome on the iPad.

I'm unaware of any reconfiguration to the 2 browsers mentioned and haven't consciously made changes to either of these browser configs.

Thanks Gop. I've tried it through 3G and 4G connections so I'm not seeing it as an isp issue. I'm also running 8.1 on all three iPads and my iPhone. Also showing the same on 3G network on an LG Android smartphone. I've set up a few test sites, different templates and also tested those, even had friends check them on different Internet service providers and they're all showing this behaviour. Also, recently the turquoise lower half of the Danube Template has disappeared from the template, leaving just the upper white half. Something has changed somewhere.

Thanks Laura. Just to let you know, i've now ran test sites over 3 different accounts, building test sites in 2 different browsers (Chrome and Firefox. I've used different templates and all the sites publish fine until I add a picture. As soon as I add a banner, or picture to the site it shows this new landing behavior .

I can't be the only person having this issue, but due to the fact I build at least 1 site a week I could be the first to notice this issue. I hope this information helps the site engineers.

Hello Grant

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, it helps. Our engineers said there's a technical issue with this specific style on which they're busy working. We'll let you know as soon as we have any news. Thank you for your patience.

Hi Stefan, it's not just this style, ive tried multiple different templates and they're all showing the same behavior, this is an "across the board" issue.

However, if you can just sort Danube for now, i'd much appreciate it, it's my favourite template to work with.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Any news on this guys. Been a week now and the issue remains. Is there not a patch of code I can put in the css to stop this?
