I'm creating a website and have added and deleted several HTML widgets in the process. Now, suddenly they refuse to be deleted. The pop-up comes up to confirm, I click yes, and the box closes as if I had said no.
I have on occasion had problems deleting widgets even empty frames. I have refreshed the page which sometimes fixed it. Then other times I just simply moved or repositioned the widget then it worked.
Thanks Frank for responding and for the suggestions.
I had previously cleared my cache but hadn't tried the other suggestion. However the problem has been fixed (I hope) by deleting the offending pages and re-creating them, on the assumption that I'd made a boo-boo in my coding. The pages didn't have anything big on them so I viewed the page on-line, copied the content I wanted to keep and pasted it in the new page. I had to re-format the styling etc. but I got it right this time.
If it happens again I'll try your other suggestion.
