Is it possible to have a .yolasite.com domain and a third-party domain at the same time on a Yola site?

Hi Yola,

I'm having a problem. I am trying to make my old domain forward to the new one, but I had to remove the yolasite.com domain in order to add the third party domain.

I've tried:

- Adding the subdomain to other sites and going to advanced settings for Steve Jobs site to add the subdomain to it, but it won't work.
- Unpublishing my Steve Jobs site and then adding the .yolasite.com domain back, but then I cannot add the third party domain back in without unpublishing it again.
- And more.

The reason why I need this is because I have linked to my site in other (non-editable) places with the old Yola subdomain (http://steve-jobs.yolasite.com) and now that I changed it to www.rememberingstevejobs.co.cc, the .yolasite.com domain doesn't work anymore, therefore I need to add that to my site as another domain that will forward to the new one. (because the new one is the primary)

After everything changed, it is now impossible to do this. Could an employee manually add it for me, because now when you visit the .yolasite.com domain it doesn't work. :(

Maybe you guys could add a feature in the publishing settings for "Add a pointed domain" like it was before, because I loved having all those options - it made it a lot easier.

Thanks,
Nathan

Hello Nathan,

You should be able to add both your subdomain and your 3rd party domain. Do you mind if I unpublish your domain and see if I can get this working for you?

I have fixed this up for you. For next time, you can add your custom domain to your site via the Domain settings page. Please take a look at my screenshot:
