im not going to leave synthasite because the other website creator puts its website name first like this: w!ww.blahblahblah.justformyspace.com unlike synthasite: w!ww.justformyspace.synthasite.com

halo3guardian,

The solution you find on another website builder will be different to the answer in SynthaSite because they use different programmes/software etc. So I don't see how that is going to help you.

Remind me what you want to do with Adsense?

im trying to make my adsense ad go on the sides of my web page and yes ive already tried it. i can show you if you want me to i dont have the ad on the sides now because( with the other website you can put an html anywhere on your page so what i do is i put the ad on my other website from them anywhere i want which is on the sides and they let you see all of your website html so i copy the html of the ad on the side of the page from my other website and i paste it in the html editor on synthasite and it appears on the side) so if i had my whole website html i could paste it on there html editor and i could see where the ad would show on my website from synthasite.....if you want me to show you i can? if this doesnt make sense i can show you.

I understand what you are saying, and what you are trying to do. However, each style has its own borders for the area where you can add content, and you can't add widgets outside of that. One of the reasons why the styles have this region is to prevent people with smaller screens from having to scroll horizontally to see your page. This is something most people find very annoying, so we have tried hard to use styles that will look good on everyone's computer as much as possible.

Honestly, i didnt really understand the whole thing.
but i just want to tell you that, "if you want to know the html of WHOLE page in txt format" you have to publish your site. Visit the page you want to know the HTML for.
e.g. www.xyz.synthasite.com/yourpage.php Right click, there would be few options. Click on "view source code". It would open in some text editor automatically. You can then save that file

*if you are searching for something else, sorry for my misunderstanding :(

As far as I'm aware, it is not possible to copy the CSS templates. Did you see my comment regarding spaces on your site where can and can't add widgets?

What are you looking for? Do you want a wide look to the site, or a narrow one? Do you want a customisable banner? Remember that there will still be areas on all of the Styles that you won't be able to add text to.This is to stop sites from looking cluttered and unprofessional...

We have a list of styles here that show all of the features that they have available

My suggestion is that you look through the styles. Click on the change style button in the site builder and look at the previews available. Find one that you feel suits your theme and your topic.

Choosing a style for your website is a very personal thing (kind of like choosing clothes, or furniture for a house) it's a decision you need to make for yourself taking into account your favourite colours, what features you need, how much customization of the style you wish to do ...

Emerald may work for you. It has a few colour options also. Like I said, the best thing to do is look for yourself. Choosing a style is really a personal decision.

If you wanted you could add a two-column widget on the page, adjust the centre column to the width you desire. Then you could put text in one of the columns and the Adsense widgets in the other and it would look like you had put the ads down the side of the page. Does that make sense?
