I think something similar to this would really make my web site more functional. Any ideas if this is possible? I sure hope so.

Thanks!!

Hello Randy,
Here is a link with more information on site search options: Adding a site search. I hope that will help.

Kind Regards,

Thanks Emmy!

I would like it to look similar to the Fedora page in my first post so that for example if people are going to my archives page they can simply type the name of an artist, song whatever and a list will come up with the search results. This would be pretty cool if this is possible. I have a feeling some coding may be involved in doing something like this unless there are instructions somewhere on how to do it.

Hi Randy,

What you are requesting is not something that we have set up in Yola, however, I am confident that doing a browser search on this subject may produce the results you are hoping for.

We'd be happy to take a peek at any of the alternative site searches you come up with, to check their compatibility with Yola.

Also, there are many members of the Yola community that have put together some pretty great searches. I am hopeful they are able to comment on this post for you!

Thanks Brianna!! Do you know what exactly I should search in? What the correct search term would be for this type of search implementation?

I am hoping that there are coding wizards out there in the Yola universe that would be able to help me out and throw some ideas my way. :)

Hi Randy

Brianna is currently offline and I will ask her to take a look at your question when she is back online.

I do not know of a code that will do this offhand. However, you can use search terms such as "website search catalog" or similar.
