My site isn't loading at all, just a white screen. Is Yola having problems today 6/5/2014?

Hi bronzie8,

We are not having any server problems today. Are you referring to your site: http://www.labellalunapersians.com/?

I am able to see this site online:

Could you describe the screen that comes up when you try to open your site?

Hi,
I have got the same problem.
The screen says "found no server".
I do not know what I should do.

Regards,

Hello Minato

I think I'm now able to shed some light on the domain issue you were experiencing.

So the domain name you posted above is a currently valid and running domain in your Yola account. You used to have another domain named minato-translation.co.uk (with a hyphen), and this domain expired a while ago. However, your website was still published to that expired domain, which is why you got the no server error page.

I have published your website to your currently running minatotranslation.co.uk domain, and your website is up under this domain now. I also removed the hypenated domain name as it is no longer registered under your name.

If you'd like to publish your website to the hyphenated domain name additionally, you'll need to check if it's yet available for resale. Then you could repurchase it and then publish it to your website, so that your site will be available under both domain names. You will just need to pay for the domain name as you can have as many domains as you want in your Yola Silver account.

Hello bronzie8 and Minato

Could you both please first try a few general trouble-shooting steps:

  • Try loading the site on a different computer or network to see if you experience the problem.

  • Check to see if you are having problems with your network or internet service provider.

  • Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.

  • Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.

  • Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: Enable Javascript.

  • Try loading the site in a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).

If none of these options help, please let us know, and we'll investigate further.

I'm very happy to hear that, bronzie8. Would you mind sharing with us if you took a certain trouble-shooting step to solve this problem, or if it was just intermittent?
