Is there a "comments" widget available, or just chat?

Am doing a test site before I do a real one, as I am rather technically inept and would rather use a secondary domain name to practice on. Anyway, I was able to load the chat widget, but I was wondering if there is a "comments" function available. Like i say, I'm somewhat tech-challenged, so I may have missed it if it's there. A chat function is fine, but it doesn't really serve my purposes like a comments section would...

Also, is there a way to make the embedded Youtube screen a bit smaller?

Thanks, Chris

Hi, Chris,

You can add comments with Disqus. You can view a tutorial on how to add Disqus here: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...

If you are using the Youtube Widget, you can't change the size. You would need to go to Youtube and get the embed code:

1. Go to YouTube and find the video you want.
2. On the right of the video you will see embed code. Copy the code. Be careful to copy all of it.
3. In Yola, drag an HTML Widget onto your page.
4. A white dialog box will open up. Paste the YouTube embed code. It will look something like this:
<!--
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/BjByTjOkyi0?...> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="true"></param><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/videohere" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385" wmode="opaque"></embed>
</object> -->

5. Change the two numbers shown for object width and height (object width = "640" height="385") to make the video smaller or bigger.
6. Click "Save".

Diane: Okay will give both suggestions a try. One possibly stupid question: Does using the HTML embedding widget use more storage than using the regular Youtube widget?

Thanks...

Amar: The sad truth is, I was intending to put that picture in as my avatar; but I have always been lousy at tech stuff. How it ended up there, I have no idea...

Hi, Sgtwombat,

Using the HTML embed as opposed to the Youtube widget will not use more storage as the video is still on Youtube not your site.

If you wish to change your avatar:

1) Go to the top and click where it says, "Welcome, sgtwombat".
2) Click on Profile Information
3) Go down to where it says "Your Icon" and browse for your picture.
4) Click on Save Details
