I'm working in Brazil in an organisation that helps children og the street and in poor situations. We would like to make a website ot the work. Is there a Portuguese version? Because our workers don't understand English.

Thank you.

Hello Jaap,

There isn't a Portuguese version at the moment. Yola are certainly considering a facility for other languages to be developed over time. You are a little ahead at this time :)

Would you like to try something novel? Online machine page translation.

There is a facility "Translate Google" which I have used a little for various online translations. It works well for latin based languages and maybe an acceptable level of translation for your Portuguese workers.

Google have a number of options for this but I feel the most appropriate for this kind of work would be at:

I would suggest that you select the Portuguese button and drag it into your browser's toolbar.

You can go into Yola browser and then select the Portuguese button from the toolbar and the page will be displayed in Portuguese. This is untested but maybe something that can help. You can use this button for any English web-page you wish to be translated into Portuguese.

I wish you great luck with this and hope that you can come up with a system that works well for you.

Hi Jaap,

While the sitebuilder is in English, you can build your entire site in Portuguese if you would like. Yola supports UNICODE. So you should be able to add text in the language of your choice.
