Is there a way to add an intro page that enters by clicking on a photo?

Sorry if this has been asked before. I couldn't find it.
Is there a way to add an intro page that consists of a single photograph (and no menu buttons or layouts)? You would then click on the photograph to enter the site at the index page.
Thanks

Anybody know? I have a feeling it's not possible but I wouldn't mind getting that confirmed. Thanks.

Yes it is possible. In Edit Menu, drag all your menu "in the menu" all the way to "out the menu" and the menus are no longer display. But expect that the rest of the menu in every page of your site will be out in the menu also. There, you can make your own intro page, you can place a single photo if you want and make link for your single photo. Visit my site, i have an intro page, but i put menus on it.

After you post an image file go to the menu on the right and click properties.....Look for Edit Your Link and you can link the image file to any of your pages or even to another web site if you like.

Thanks for the replys!
It's not completely what I'm looking for though. What I'd ideally like is a blank intro page without any menu buttons or banners and only the photo. You would then click on the photo to enter to the index, which would have the menu buttons and banner and everything.
Here's an example of something similar: http://www.reginaspektor.com/
I'm not sure that can be done here though.
Thanks again.

Do it just as I said on your index page...Link The image to the page you want others to go to next.
In properties leave the index page heading blank....Go to edit menu and put all the other pages over to the right and they will not show on your intro/index page....You will need to come up with buttons that link to pages so people can navigate your site....Also change the title Home on your index page to welcome or something like that.

It is you who can make the intro (index) page blank. If you dont want anything on your intro page, use the NoFrills template because it has no default banner but make sure that the index is in the "out the menu". In the Properties bar, make sure that you don't type your title on the Page Heading. This can make your Intro(index) page a plain all white blank page.

Thanks again.
I don't suppose there's a way to use the NoFrills template for the intro page with hidden menu buttons and then have a different template with visible menu buttons for the rest of the site is there?
thanks

Hello dgray,

Maybe you could have 2 sites.
Use the first site as your intro and clicking the image would then link to a second site. The second site could obviously be configured completely independently.
Trick your users by using site names that are very similar and not obviously different in name or pronunciation.

Hi dgray,

It is not possible to use two different templates for a single site. Peter's suggestion has some merit if this something that you would consider doing.

Thank you everyone for replying!
Peter's suggestion is good but I think it would be too much of a hastle for me just for an intro page. I think I'll do without one for now - unless a blank page setting is enabled with any template (kind of like how now you have an option between a regular page or a blog page - maybe there could also be a blank page option) Might this be a possibility in the future? Just an idea.
Cheers,
Daniel
