My music website usually uses the widgets for uploading mp3 players for our users to listen to music, but I am wanting to shift to using the blogging feature to write more about the music. However, I don't know if there is a way to have a mp3 player in the blog post. The closest thing I know how to do is put the mp3 player outside of the blog post or using the URL of the music files in file manager to create a link to a mp3 player. Is there anyway to have an mp3 player in a blog post though? If not :(, it would be a great feature to have :).

 Hi TheInfamousMusic

I understand why you would like to have a MP3 player inside your blog posts.  Yes, the one way to add a music in the post, is to create a link from the MP3 file somewhere else.

Another way to do it, is to embed a MP3 file directly into the blog post.  Here are the steps to follow to do this:

  1. Upload the file into the File Manager.

  2. Start the blog post on your site.

  3. In the blog post, click on the HTML button in the Text Editing Toolbar.

  4. Paste this code into the HTML Editor:
    <embed src="resources/music.mp3" width="140" height="40" autostart="false" loop="FALSE"></embed>

  5. Change music.mp3 into the name of your music file.  If you have added the music file into a folder inside the File Manager, remember to change the file path.  It will look something like resources/folder/music.mp3.

  6. Click "OK" to return to the blog post.

I hope you find this method useful.  If you need more help, please let us know.
