Isn't Yahoo credits already free without Yola Pro?

Isn;t yahoo credits free regardless? it shouldn't be a Pro incentive if it is.

I mean I easily navigated to same page as was given in Pro email.
It didn''t have a promo code like the facebook credits so I would assume its not really a part of Pro.

That should be made clear or deleted from incentives.

Unless I'm wrong. Please correct me.

how are they free? is yahoo offering them for free? because if they are free without yola... have you thought that maybe you could get 50? The 25 free credits from yahoo and 25 free credits from yola? I'm not sure about the free credits you're talking about... but you probably have to buy 25 to get the 25 free from yahoo. Yola... it's part of the $25 yola pro costs (today) and soon to be $50 again.

the yahoo marketing search yola is referring to is advertising (paid)... you know in a google search how you see "sponsored listings"? Those are paid advertising, sometimes appears to the right of the searches as well as up top searches... the yahoo marketing search is the same thing but for yahoo. You have to pay for it. Yola gives you $25 worth of yahoo marketing search as an incentive.

they display your ad the same way as if you used adwords and was randomly appearing on other websites... except it's within the search results... you select... would like to spend $0.25 per click and $50 budget for example. Then they randomly show your ad based on keyword searches. The difference between (being listed in yahoo and having a sponsored listing in yahoo) is that, if you appear in yahoo sponsored listings - you're on page 1 without having to work for it...but then you refresh the page, and someone else's ad is there.

Your not understanding me Donald. I know how all that works. What I am referring to is when you Donald would say "hey let me Makret with Yahoo" (Donald heads over to yahoo marketing site) Donald then signs up for Yahoo Marketing. Yahoo gives you 25 bucks without you ven having to pay for Yola Pro. Yola is never mentioned with Yahoo marketing . On the other hand Facebook actually provides a link with a Promo code that is used to makret with them.
Get me?

Yahoo is 25 bucks free with it

yea, so yahoo gives you 25 free bucks then? because marketing with yahoo is NOT free, but perhaps they have a special where they give you 25 bucks for signing up?

Maybe I should do it.

I think you might be mistaken. Where do you get these free credits from yahoo? I've gone through the entire yahoo marketing process. I'm at the billing (and final) step of the process. I have to pay $30 (at a minimum) deposit (payable up front) and nowhere does it indicate $25 free credits.

and I can't get past this step unless I put in my credit card information or paypal which will then authorize them to take $30 from me... which I don't have.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for buying Yola Pro.

The Yahoo $25 free advertising credits deal is something that was created specifically for Yola. While you can go to that page, you can only do so because we created it with Yahoo. You would not get the $25 credits if you simply signed up on their website at: http://advertising.yahoo.com/smallbus... without having been on our page first. Once you clicked on the Yahoo Free Credits link in the Yola Pro receipt, a cookie is stored in your browser and you will see the credits every time you try to sign up.

The free Yahoo advertising credits are there for small businesses who plan to use the Yahoo advertising program on a regular basis.

They require you to buy the minimum $30 advertising which is what a small business spends on advertising monthly at a minimum of $1/day.

Mada I am sorry but this deal does apply to any web builder that signs up for Yahoo sponsored searches......http://sem.smallbusiness.yahoo.com/se...# ....Now the question is, if a person already has taken Yahoo up on this offer and used the $25.00 introductory offer from them.....If that same person buys Yola Pro do they get another $25.00 credit?

yea, I just looked at the link john provided and it "appears" it's available to anyone whether or not they purchase pro. If this is the case, yola should "password protect" the link - this can be done by having the link to a yola created page redirecting to the yahoo page. The password and url would be emailed to the person purchasing yola pro.

yea, almost as bad as people buying a link removal (like me) and then later purchasing yola pro for the same as everyone else. The link removal is "part" of yola pro, so by purchasing it in advanced, some of us have to pay for yola pro AND the link removal whereas others get the link removal included (those that decide to wait).

It shouldn't be a part of Yola Pro since we can get regardless.
Maybe a new Incentive??
Maybe remove personal info from WHoIS? lol

Maybe it is as I am asking.....I also do not think there is any intent on the part of Yola to "rip" anyone off...At worst it is an oversight IMO

Hi everyone,

I have sent an email to our Marketing Team, they have more knowledge on the specifics of the credits. We appreciate your patience, someone should be along soon to comment here.

Thanks,

Hi Everyone,

We included the advertising credits with Yola Pro to offer additional value with the purchase of the package.

- The $25 credit is not available on the main Yahoo page, but it does show if you click through initially on the Yola link and then return to Yahoo as a cookied visitor. It "remembers" you and the $25 offer is displayed.

- Yahoo may offer the $25 credit through other partners or in other places as a promotion, it is not exclusive to Yola.

- There is a $30 minimum purchase requirement. We will make a point to explain that more clearly upfront.

Thank you for the feedback, our goal is always to provide the best value and to be as clear as possible with you, our community of users. Your input is truly valued!

Best,
Dave
