I've taken my site down and am going to put it up. I've got a question though.

I've taken my site down because I am majorly rebuilding it and I reached my site limit.

So I've put a countdown timer on my website which counts down to when I'm going to put it back online. I want to be able to publish the new site at the time the counter gets to 0. Is there a way I can do this? The only way I can think of is to take the old site down, but that will take at least 10 seconds, and that's when people might be waiting for it to come online.

I have thought of another idea, which is to publish the replacement site to down.therecipebook.org, have visitors who visit the new site redirect to there, publish the new site, send them to the new site, but I don't think that's possible.

Hi, Will,

I'm afraid I don't have any good ideas. It seems that if whether you publish or redirect it would take a few seconds to accomplish. It would be really hard to get it right at the exact time. Perhaps someone else has an idea?
