Hi
You have invalid characters in your file name, try changing it to this
<!--

-->

you may like to correct 'gRenerated' as well.
Hope this works for you.

Hi Ajani

Please share your code here so that we can take a closer look at why it is not working.

Add your code like this so that it displays in the forum post: <!-- code here -->

Hi I am having some problems with my code can you take a look at this please? I don't get the form validation working at all. I Uploaded files to my File Manager root folder and added the following header code/html code in a html widget but its not working at all. I've added the validation to the First Name filed in the code below but I can still submit the form without adding anything in this field.

The form works fine without any validation.

<!--

<script src="js/jquery.form.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
$("#contactForm").validate();
});
</script>
<style type="text/css">
label { width: 10em; float: left; }
label.error { float: none; color: red; padding-left: .5em; vertical-align: top; }
p { clear: both; }
em { font-weight: bold; padding-right: 1em; vertical-align: top; }

Hi,

I think that this may be just some incomplete website addresses and easily fixed.

<script src="js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/jquery.validate.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/jquery.form.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I think that these addresses are incomplete. There needs to be the file-manager name "resources" before these so that:

<script src="resources/js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="resources/js/jquery.validate.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="resources/js/jquery.form.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

So from these addresses, I would say that each js file is in a folder called js in your file-manager?

The second area of uncertainty is:
<form id="contactForm" action="https://mysite.com/newlead" method="post">
<fieldset>
<legend>Validating a complete form</legend>
<input type=hidden name="oid" value="private">
<input type="hidden" name="FORM_ID" value="private">
<input type="hidden" name="COMPLETE_URL" value="http://mysite/submission-received.php">

both these addresses seem to be generic rather than specific so you will need to replace "mysite.com" and "mysite" with your real site name if you haven't already.

Goodluck.
