Recently I start to use android phone with Tesco mobile (UK).
Then I realize my jewellery / photography website www.kotomicreations.com (Yola bronze) is regarded as "18+" site and I can not see/show when I'm on their network, without removing the age restriction. I am trying to remove my age restriction with Tesco mob, but why is this happen, anyone know???
My site don't contain any adult contents. And I hope anyone can access/ see my site even with restricted phones.
Is there anything I can/should do on my Yola site setting?

Hello Kotomi,

My telco network allows me to view your stunning site on iOS mobile devices. The phone isn't "locked" so I suspect that it is, as you say, your local telco classifying your site. Obviously not a Yola restriction based on this and am unaware of any "switch" on the Yola sitebuilder that is able to be set for such classification.

Your site isn't mobile optimised and this may have an effect(?)

Wondering if in fact the classification is rather for "interest age group" rather than a "moral restriction". Still a mis-classification and frustrating, I agree.

Thank you, Gop 4,

In the end, AT LAST Tesco mobile managed to removed my age restriction, therefore I can see my own site on their network. But they didn't give me any reason nor explanation...
I also, consulted to Yola support, but again, their reply goes :

"It sounds like Tesco has a rather high level of security and is flagging your site as an 18+ site. You mentioned having already reaching out to Tesco and I think that is a wise move. This is not something we can actually assist with. We do not know why they have flagged it as such. It would be based on certain filters they have put in place.

I realize that this is frustrating and do wish we are able to assist with this. I hope that Tesco is able to provide you with the helped needed to resolve this."

So still it is not clear what makes those classification....who knows???
But I do not have enough will-power to quest the real reason...

Simply I hope all my potential customer / client are adult enough and have un-locked mobile phones ; )
