Probably the best by far in affiliate networks to join. Free to join, no referrals so nobody (me included) is going to make any money off your signing up. Over a thousand customers and literally thousands and thousands of professional ads, banners, products and so much more... High commissions and easy as can be to implement on your site. All in all a fabulous service that if you wish to offer high quality ads and earn a from purchases then please do take a look at this.

Commission Junction is the largest affiliate network in North America, powering almost 50% of the top 500 web retailers affiliate marketing programs and operates worldwide. Along with being the world's largest Affiliate Network, Commission Junction also promotes their Search Marketing services and their media services. Their corporate headquarters is located in Santa Barbara, California. Commission Junction has also offices in the UK, Germany, France and Sweden.

Commission Junction has over 1,500 customers including Buy.com, Home Depot, Go Daddy, Circuit City, Experian and Yahoo!. You will be utterly amazed...

https://www.cj.com/

P.S. Don't get rid of Adsense if you choose to implement this program because I think that it's a great combination of services to offer your viewers. Oh as well you get to pick the companies ads to place on your site ;))) Just make sure that you sign up as a publisher and when you create a banner ad that you insert your identifier number next to your name in the upper right corner of the after sign in page.

I hope you enjoy and God I love to share don't you?...

Sorry, I just read that you need not insert anything in the blank box when you finalize your banner because it is already tracked to you. The blank box it for you to include if you wish a number and letter combination to differentiate placement of that particular banner. It's late and when I typed that I was a bit off (lol)

So, disregard the following from above (when you create a banner ad that you insert your identifier number next to your name in the upper right corner of the after sign in page.) You can leave it empty.

It may have sounded like self promotion me posting this but I wish to assure you that I get nothing from sharing this with you as the company has no down line system and there is no way by which I can collect a single penny from you or anyone (EVER)

I simply wished to pass along a great program for anyone who wishes to find quality ads. Many posts in the past where related to moneymaking and where to get ads that pay nicely and from a company which is reputable. I simply wanted to share with those in the past who asked how to make money...

To see that the link has no identifiers here it is in its simplest form ( cj.com )

Just to back you up ed

I use cj.com alot myself mate and i can vouch that they do not pay commision at all on links to their site or in any other way and in no way could he possibly be earning monies from this link.

You can see a number of the companies and banners etc they other on www.webwander.co.uk which is my site.

Just to clarify that for the other readers what ethan0904 meant was that Commission Junction does not pay commission for referrals. Which mean that as we are affiliates I nor he get any monetary compensation for sharing the link with you. There is no drop down system and everyone is equal.

Aha, and as to them paying you for placing ads on your site. You get compensated each time someone clicks on the ad and makes a purchase. Each company's ad has their own percentages of earning and it is up to you which ads to place on your site.

Thanks for the sharing of your experience Ethan ;)

Happy site building and hopefully wealth from it...

I understood what he was trying to say but you did bring to my attention an interesting point. Right now I am with linkshare and they never mentioned how they track affiliates. I never entered any of my information into the codes so I have to find out if I should have enter information myself into the codes. Have either of you ever worked with link share?

Hi again New2me

I just wanted all those who weren't as enlightened as you about how all this works to fully understand the system and how things function.

As far as Linkshare is concerned I am fairly certain that if you are signed into your account then when you produce or generate the code that your unique identifier is embedded within the code.

One simple way to check this is to right click on one of your ads and then "Copy link location" then paste to your notepad or wordpad and read the URL. If it has your identifier embedded you will see it. In some cases this code is encrypted and you will not be able to see your identifier but try to paste it into your address bar and if the long address turns into a short one you most likely have your ID embedded as usually it automatically disappears from view.

I think I need to get a life huh because it seems I am on entirely too much huh??? lol I was at it for 14 hours yesterday and still got a ton of my own stuff done.

I love answering questions though... ;) Can you tell???

You know on my site I broke a new mouse within 1 month with all the codes, ads, images and cut and pasting so do take a break now and again my friend or your right mouse button will do what mine did and not work for you. Thank God for backups...

You can be soooo funny sometimes. Atleast you have a job you love doing!! That makes you work 14 hours plus doing it and you really don't mind because it is something you want to do.

Stay as you are!!

Oh I'm sorry if it seemed like I was an employee of the company. I am just a fellow site builder like you. The company reps have (official rep) after their names... Mine is just a honey bear and my name...;)

Just a handy guy I suppose...

Gonna step out for a while and take a screen break...

Hi Ed
You better bring your coffee while you wait for your check.
I have just started setting a few of those site just to see where they go. Plus I just waited to put the domain names to use. If you believe that thousand of people will come to you site because you have this program, I hope you the best. Visit my home page at www.a-and-l-merchants.com from there you can go to my other sites. Even with the ads traffic will not pick up till I promote them more and get the mega thing going and other things
Good Luck with your new adventure

Hi there...

Can't drink the coffee sadly because of a bad ticker so you're dangling a carrot my friend. lol... Decaf all the way...

Oh and the ads of course aren't the draw to any site. It is the content and getting visitors there by other means. A site with nice advertising on it gives it more of a professional appearance and gives the publisher an opportunity to make some extra cash.

The only reason I post C.J. here is because it is the only affiliate network of its kind which does not have the drop down list and thus is not considered self promotion in the forums. There have been many members who were looking for just such a resource and it's nice to have to offer them.

I had looked at many of your sites and hope you have or are planning to create a new site using Synthasite because your experience would be of great use here in the forums helping other members.

Thanks for the coffee and good site building

Hey thanks ethan0904

I am sure the European members will like tradedoubler because us in the states have a problem registering and signing up. I had tried a while back and each time it didn't like the fact that I had placed a European country as my market and my US address. (they recommended you simply pick a country and sign up as an international affiliate) I tried it last month as well as hours ago with all of the countries and still nothing. I have an email into the company (yesterday) so I will wait and see.

But a very good addition to the thread for everyone in Europe to use. I am sure there will be some happy people out there thanking you.

Enjoy the Day or Night...

Thanks Ethan

Hmmm, Hatfield huh... Nice to have fans in the UK ;)

Glad you liked it. The forums helped me a great deal in the overall looks because I was able to use the eyes of the many to help the one. LOL it's a Star Trek thing but opinions are always a good thing to have from others because it opens you up to new ideas and ways to see things. If you ever need an extra set of good eyes just ask and I am sure that you will have many of us coming out of the woodwork to take a look.
