Just one of my pages won't load in site builder

One of my pages in Site Builder will not load. It just sits there with Opening Page spinning around in red at the top.
The other pages all load fine and all of the pages load fine on the published site too.
I need to remove one of the pictures I posted and am unable to do this now.

Any suggestions, please?

Hi Peter,

Could you tell me if you have any custom HTML that you added to that page? We would love to take a look at it so if you could tell us your URL and the page that is giving you problems, we can take a look at it.

Hi Dre,

Thanks for your reply.
I have been on my site this morning making a few changes to the sizes of the pictures and also on that page as well a few times, then I suddenly had the problem.
All the text I copied from Notepad and then posted to my page.

Do you want the url to the published site or to my site builder? As I said, on the published site ALL the pages load fine, only this particular page on site builder is giving me the problem.
Thanks.
Peter

Hi Peter,

Thank you for posting the URL. The reason why the page is not loading is because there is code copied from another source on the page - here's a section of it:
<!--
coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe"
filled="f" stroked="f">
<v:stroke joinstyle="miter"/>
<v:formulas>
<v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"/>
<v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"/>
<v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"/>
<v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"/>
<v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"/>
<v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"/>
<v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"/>
</v:formulas>
<v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"/>
-->

Your page will load if you use Firefox as a browser as it's more forgiving than Internet Explorer (I'm assuming you're using IE :)

The code is located in the second empty text widget after "Trough -Belt Conveyor". If you click in it and then click on the HTML button on the text editing toolbar, you will be able to see what I mean. I think you may have tried to paste a picture into the text widget?

If you would like me to delete it for you, please let me know.

Hi Marije,
Thanks for helping me again.
I actually always use Firefox as my browser.
Yes please, if you could delete it for me as I am unable to do anything at all on that page, it won't allow me to click on anything as it is still opening the page.

Thanks so much for your help once again, Marije.

No problem - I've done that for you. You may have to switch to another page if you're still trying to load it. If it still won't load, can you try clearing your browser's cache: http://www.google.com/support/account.... Please come back to us if it still doesn't load, it's no problem!

Hi Peter - can you try again now? If it still doesn't load, can you log out of Yola and then in again. Let us know how it goes...

No sorry still no change. I also noticed when I go to Preview Page although I can see the whole page, the Window Title is still spinning around. In site builder all I can see are the pictures and only the text bars.
Do you think it would help if I deleted all the pictures and see what happens? I can always add them again one by one and see if one of those is the culprit.

I will have to go off line shortly but will be back again early this evening if you will be available to continue assisting me if necessary.

Thanks for your help so far :)

Oh, just realised that I won't be able to delete the photos myself as it won't load!

That is weird - I actually recreated your page for you, so it's a brand-new one that should load. It only consists of text and pictures which should not cause any problem. So, I'm going to give you all of the steps that ask people to check:
1. Check that whether you need to update your browser.
2. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Bro...
3. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: http://www.google.com/cookies.html
4. Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: http://www.google.com/support/websear...
5. Check that your Flash is up-to-date: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewC...
6. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).
7. Try loading the site on a different computer or network if possible.

Let us know how it goes :)

Now that's interesting!
I have just logged in again using I E and it works perfectly, no problems in loading at all!!
Does that explain anything for you?
Should I continue now using I E or still follow the steps you have given me now?

Actually I would prefer to use Firefox as I E does give other problems at times.

It doesn't explain anything - browsers are just weird sometimes! If you want to continue using IE, please do so. But if it continues not working in Firefox, I can only suggest those steps because one of them usually solves the problem :)

Ok thanks for your help Marije. I will do as you suggest this evening as I prefer to use Firefox, but we will see how I E performs.

Have a good weekend.

Peter.

Hi again Marije,

Just wanted to give you feedback after I checked again last night.
Everything seems to be working fine once again in both Firefox and I E.

Could quite possibly even been my internet connection playing a part too.
I use Vodacom 3G and this has caused problems before.

So thanks once again for all your help.

Peter.

Happy to hear that you are able to work in both browsers now. Not sure what the original cause was, but it is always good when the problem goes away, whether we know why or not. Let us know if it happens again.
