I called in last night for the first time with a domain issue. Spoke with Vika in Capetown, and was so pleased to have such a knowledgeable staff member. Think I kept her on the line a little longer then needed, and found her to be quite charming. As usual, YOLA ROCKS!

were you able to get phone support? What number did you call? I have been working on an issue for 3 days now and would LOVE to be able to talk with a real person instead of waiting for email/post replies!

@Monique: Decent! everyone likes to be told they did great when they do... even if they don't realize it, and consider it all just part of the job. If you saw the current size of my computer desk, you would appreciate how many foreign call centers I've had to deal with along the way. most are not just bad, but downright awful. I could actually understand her - that's always a plus! (but rare) I even hung out for a bit and showed her photosynth and ed's revamp. (honey bear is, and always will be, the official "Guido Says It's The Mack Daddy" site of all of yoplaland)

spent some time today showing gratitude by helping out a bit, and looked at the date of my 1st post. where does time go? (the self induced short term memory loss that I attribute mostly to malt, hops, bong resin & head trauma via surf board wipeouts, makes it seem like just yesterday:) now I'm running like 40 something page 1s and 15+ spot 1s for the search phrases I optimized for. I have never printed more then a few cards off the laser and am currently 100% Google via Yola supported. Now add to that what I'm paid to create free sites from scratch for the free logo and sign clients my free site brings me, (no advertising budget is a good thing!) and all in all I'm pretty damn glad I stumbled upon youse guise 3 years ago.

Sooooo.... yall consider me a vip? sweet! out of curiosity... how many more posts do I need to be a champ ? :( if I'm close, I'll pull an all-nighter :)

...and on a final note before I get my happy ass to work (I'm not swearing, I own a donkey, that's pleased to be here, and needs to go eat my lawn, so I don't have to mow it) I did an overhaul on my site. got rid of the midnight all black template, and did a fresh logo to go with the new look. Added a virtual tour with photosynth, and adjusted all my pages to show the important info before the page break. added some background ghost images, and a cool link section on seo featuring my favorite website. mine! Please check it out and see all the cool sites I've done with yall.

Ciao!

Excellent! So glad the South African accent wasn't a problem to you. Of course it doesn't even sound like an "accent" to me, but we are never quite sure how understandable it is to non-South Africans.

Anyone who has been with us as long as you have is most certainly a VIP! As for champ status, I am very tempted to award it right now, purely for the excellent user feedback on our call center and the cool website redesign. Keep up the participation and you never know . . . :)
