When you type in keywords,do you keep the keywords in the keyword box? Can I backspace them out once they have been saved? Also if there are any pointers of using keywords then I'm all ears. Thanks

- Use lower case (NOT CAPITALS)
- Seperate words and phrases with commas
- Dont use more than about 150 charachters
- Dont delete them once you add them
- Try and think of some good ones related to your site and keep them there for a long time. Add new ones when the site content changes.

Danny - choosing good words is a whole other thing - my tips are just about adding the words.

@Rizan....You don't want to keep changing things too often....Give it awhile after a change to make sure your site has been crawled a few times and see if you are improving in search results. If you change keywords constantly you will never know what is working and what is not.....Have to add...search the term "mideast home recipes" and see who is now on page 1

@ Rizan - Johns right you need to give the search engines a chance to know what your sites real keywords are - especially your index page.
What i was refering to here is - in Dannys question he says "Can I backspace them out once they have been saved?" - i was telling him not to do this - something needs to stay in the field.
