No doubt you'll get more and better ideas from members who have deeper knowledge than I have, but looking at your keywords, I saw a list very similar to those I would use to find a site like yours - and that's the purpose of them !
However, there are a couple of long search phrases that probably would be better broken into individual words (some of which you've already used).
Your meta-description should be a sentence or two describing your business, not a list of keywords.
Incidentally, there's a small spelling error on the right-hand panel ("your've"="you've").
The website looks good... well done.
All the best

Thanks for the reply Philip, Iv'e been plugging away at this seo for a couple of months from scratch and its nice to hear I'm going in the right directions,I will look at the meta tags again, I get a bit mixed up on what type of wording is supposed to go where, are the long search phrases you mention related to the meta tags or keywords, I'm trying to cover as many combinations I think I should but if they are unnecassaryly long then I will look at them again, could you elaborate on the ones you mentioned for me'

Thanks Rich

Paste your site url here

http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search...

and follow the advise, also try to keep your description down to about 90 characters including spaces as google will truncate it so its wasted anyway, if you check google you'll see its cut of at 'slabbing'

To start with spelling counts with SEO and you have errors on one of the most important things...Your page/window title on your home page.

A few simple guidelines to get started.

Content is king so make your pages first and include keywords/phrases you think people might use to find you.

Make ALL your meta title/descriptions and keyword relate to your page.

Yola allows you to put this data in page properties.

Window Title:Max 70 characters and spaces count.Try to avoid useless words if you can...such as "the" "and" etc...you get the idea I am sure

Meta Description: Max 150 characters. This lets you be a bit more specific about what is on the page.

Key Words/Phrases: Max 10

Adding words not contained on your page does noting for you.

Here is a sample of what I would use for your home page if it were my site.

Evans Landscaping Birmingham|Redditch|Bromsgrove gardens|drives|patios

Search engines are sensitive to the general geographic location of the computer being used to search. So it helps you if you have an actual location area you serve to mention that in your home page title and meta description.
