In the past I had seen many users place questionable videos on their websites that were not legal to place there. The reasons are many but mostly were due to piracy and I wanted offer an alternative to breaking the law. We all l have seen Google videos and the plethora of choices that are amassed there but not all shows they list are legally there. There are certain cases where you should NOT embed a YouTube video. If the video you see is of some commercial TV show or movie, even if there is an EMBED code, it is not wise to embed it. While it is of course possible that the commercial TV or movie company put up the video themselves and want others to embed it, there is also a chance that someone other than the copyright owners has illegally uploaded the video. Embedding such videos puts your site (and you) at risk. You may have the most innocent of intentions, but if the copyright owner takes you to court, you'll end up spending money, wasting time, worrying unnecessarily, just to prove your innocence. It's simply not worth it.

Here is a safe alternative to those residing in the US and one that wont get a cease and desist order telling you to remove it because these are right from the film makers themselves...

To embed a full length TV episode or movie select from “Popular episodes” for TV or “Popular featured films” for Movie.
3) Locate the desired episode or movie you would like to embed and click to watch.
4) Once the commercial is finished and the show begins to load click the “Embed” button in the upper left corner of the media player.

This is a legal and friendly way to add a movie to your personal or for profit website.

Happy site building and keep it legal my friends...
