I have added a feedburner link to my site so that people can sign up to my blog by email. I would like to limit users so that you can ONLY sign up through email, and not through any RSS feeds (where I can't see my readership email). Is this possible?
I have sought this answer as well some time ago. I think there's a practical work around that may prevent people subscribing to the RSS.
As you would have done place the "subscribe by email" point on your page and remove all instances of RSS subscription. It then becomes a situation of not realising that RSS is still able to be subscribed to. It works for one of my sites.
On another note I am not quite sure that it is of real benefit because I think that it's not necessarily true to believe that if a person can't subscribe by RSS then they will subscribe by email. Leading on from that it is possible to find out who subscribes to your RSS feed although what you then do with that information can be tricky.
