I went to Ed's site and am working off of the links buttons. They look great but mine keeping throwing link boxes around the buttons. I looked at Ed's site and this doesnt happen. What am I doing wrong? I am copying and pasting the button images to a text page, highlighting the image and hitting add link. I want clean looking links like Ed's. LOL Any help? P.S. I see that Ed is roaming the room. If you are looking, I am most concerned about the buttons on the I Want Polish Pottery site. HTH so you can help?

Sorry that all of the products are not up and running just yet but if you have further suggestions, I will definately consider any and all. Marry me and we can run away to Lithuania together...for a visit. lol.

Hi njoynlife

Not sure were things went wrong with your link but if you highlight the code I have prepared for you below and paste it into an HTML widget your button link will work perfectly...

everything between the <!-- and the -->

<!--

<div id="Body" ><div id="I207" style="display:block;text-align:center;" class="Image_Default"><a href="http://www.myauntcameback.synthasite.... id="I207_img" src="http://www.myauntcameback.synthasite...." style='width:; border:none;'/></a></div></div>

-->

That should work for you...

Just delete the other image that is giving you grief

Happy site building

Hi njoynlife

It looks like it might be a text widget bug because all your images are contained in the text widget and they have the border.

Could you dragging an image widget on your page and place an image on your page that way as a test...

By the way.... Which browser are you using? It is always best to edit your site using Firefox.

IE has some bug problems with editing your site sometimes

If you can't get the links to work with an image widget using Firefox and
If that code above worked then just edit it for each button. Just change the link URL for the page and the image name.

Ha, it works if I use the image widget! I am using IE as far as I know and to be honest, I wouldnt even begin to know how to use foxfire. But you are correct, it only happens in the text pages. Dont know why. Thanks for the extra help and attention!

Hey njoynlife

You can try to submit a link request with these sites for your website

http://www.lithuanian-american.org/

As well as here is the list of Lithuanian communities nationwide. Many of them have websites.
http://www.lithuanian-american.org/ch...

Send them a nice email and they might add your site.

Happy site building

I thought I hit post but maybe I didnt. Second time typing this. The html you sent me worked perfectly. Have a look. I still can not duplicate this though. The add image works but will not allow me to line up multiple pics side by side, so that is out. I downloaded and am using foxfire (which I LOVE, thank you) but still the same thing takes place so it just must be something I am doing. Care to walk me through how you are making your links?

Thanks for the suggestions on the above related links as well. I will surely contact them once my site looks....decent. LOL

I am having a great time putting the site together and laughing about the fact that we are not paying another 5000.00 to have a site created!

TO THOSE JUST READING...If you aren't using the foxfire, you have got to give it a try. Everything looks so much better and it has built in spell check. Much needed in my case lol.

P.S. Ed when things slow down after the holidays, I will send you one of the Houses Of Courage, if you do not already have one.

Too many bugs tonight in the system... I can't put any images on my test site because the system is not showing images in my file manager even though I know they are in there... Can't select an image that you cannot see. I would have had this done an hour ago but 2 1/2 hours later but I had to do it all by memory and hand...

Sooo girl

1) Right click on all 10 of these images and save to your computer in a separate file to keep track of them.

2) Upload all of them to your file manager

3) Copy all the code below between the <!-- and the -->

4) Open your site editor and drag a Widgetbox widget (widgetbox automatically centers everything placed inside)

5) Paste the copied code inside the widgetbox widget

6) View your site and or update...

You can put the code on as many pages as you like it will look the same as on the other pages.

******I put the code on the test page******

Happy site building njoynlife and you don't owe me a thing... Maybe a smile ;)

Workin on my links page update. I will be able to walk you through it momentarily. In the meantime all you need to do is upload all the images in your file manager and update. Even though you can't see them they are there I assure you...

20 minutes and I should be done...
