If you need support from Yola please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
My links used to work on myspace, but out of nowhere they stopped working, like when you click on the link it only puts half of the url I have assigned to that link in the browser destination. This is really weird it has been working fine for a couple months then last week stopped working.
i think this is a known issue - you can not use free site builders URL's in Myspace, i dont know how you had it working.
Maybe im wrong try going to tinyurl.com and using that url to link to your site - (may work - i dont know)
We have communicated with MySpace about this. It seems that because of abuses of users of other free site builders in the past (not SynthaSite users) they have blocked links from any subdomain of a free site builder. Their advice is if you want to post a link to your site, to use a top level domain (eg, "example.com" instead of "example.synthasite.com")
So if you want a link to your website on MySpace you will need your own domain. This would be the case if you used SynthaSite or any other site builder.
SynthaSite allows you to buy domains for 19.95 USD per year.
