Hello Steven,

This can be done with the Text widget and utilising the Link facility there. A link to another page is one of the pre-formed utilities within the link button.

When I click on the text widget I don't see a "link" option. Does this come with the free version? Thanks

When you drag the text widget onto your page, it instructs you to add some text or similar into the space offered. If you just click on that space then the toolbar will open somewhere above this. in that toolbar you will see the link facility (a chain link plus the word link) That's the place you need to click onto.

There's no difference between versions for this.

Thank you. I did find the "link" , but when I click on it, and I fill in the appropriate information, I can tell no difference. I can go to my home page and click on the part I was suppose to have edited with a link, and nothing happens. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.. Thanks..

Hi Steven,

I've captured the dialogue of the link facility.

I think you can see what I have selected which is a page and specifically the index page, (offered in the drop-down). If that is then OK'd it will put the name of the link page there. This is a hotlink meaning if you click on it it will take you to the linked page.

You can create this same link with text and by adding the text you wish to display as your link then this becomes highlighted and active. Similarly you can do this with an image as well but easier to use the image widget.

Ok, I did what you said multiple times. It is still not working like I want it to. Actually when I click on the link I thought I created, it does nothing. It does not take me to the page I have specified for it to take me to.

I am an electrical contractor. I have a text labeled " Hazardous wiring". I have tried to create a link for it, so when it is clicked on, it will take you to another page that I have labeled " Hazardous wiring". It does nothing. Still need help. Thank you.

The part does highlight and underline, but still will not take me to the page. There is not "finger" pointing to the highlighted text.....Thanks again

did you save and preview or save publish and look at the published site?

Can you take a screen shot to show here?

I apologise Steven for not making it clear to you. Please keep prompting.

If you can publish your site and let me know the address then I can also look at where it's at by viewing the source code.

Thanks for the help. After saving and preview, it did work. I'm still working on other issues now though.

Thanks again...
