I now have an empty folder titled "resources" in the list of folders where I do have content. Do I really need this forder? I know the links refer to .../resourses/..., but as I say, this folder has nothing in it.

Well, If you created that folder you should be able to delete. It shouldn't change what the links to say because you can't delete the resources(or file manager)? I'm not sure I understand your question? Could you rephrase, please?

The resources folder is required for your site. It is the root folder for any other resources you upload or folders you create. Sub-folders can be deleted, but the resources folder cannot.

Just to clarify though... the default resources folder does not actually have a folder icon that is labelled "resources" - right?. So, I would assume that if there is a folder icon with the name "resources", this is most likely a sub-folder and therefore can be deleted.

Hello,

Ok, you can delete that resources folder. I wanted to make sure since the files are in general in a folder called resources, that it would be all right to have another folder called resources. Thanks for your patience.

Is at the bottom left, and I do not remember making it. Yes is an empty sub-folder!

I'm not sure Kent.. you must have added it and simply forgot? I know I don't have one in my file manager.

Hi Kent,
I am not sure, you must have created it at one time. The resources directory that is the "File Manager" that is referenced in the path to a file is different that the resources sub folder that you have. If you have nothing in it, you can go ahead and delete it, this will not harm your site.
