How to insert links to custom panel? I want to create a menu made from a text widget and add a black rectangle box with a half opacity behind. When I insert the text widget to the black box (custom panel) the link aren't recognized and the color of the text change. I know you have beautiful menu allready made in yola but there's no option to create a French/English website so that's why I used to found another solution.

Hello VL O CT

That sounds like a formatting issue. In the Custom Panel Widget settings, there is still a Font tab (which we actually intend to remove). It's probably the settings there which cause the issue you're describing. To change this, please follow these steps:
  1. Hover over your Custom Panel Widget and click on "Edit" to open the settings.

  2. Click on the "Fonts" tab. You'll see default settings for font and link colour there. Click into the fields with the codes and delete them. As a result, the little preview box will show a chess board pattern (grey-white squared) to indicate that no colour is set. Repeat this for each field.

  3. Hit the "Save" button.

  4. Preview to check if you can now see the desired font and link formattings.

If that doesn't help, please post your website URL and the page name for me to check in your Sitebuilder directly.

Hello Stefan,

Thank you! It work perfectly! But I have another issue, I hope you can help me to fix it. Here's what I want to do. I want to add the custom panel and align it like you can see on top on the image. I tried with margin Up and down and put 0 to all the pixel but but the result is not as I want. The custom panel is too big or the rest of the down page goes up when I add (-200px top margin).
Can you help me?

I want the orange like this

Here's my problem

when I margin up -200px (in the custom panel) my logo goes up and the text disapear.

Thank you for your time!

Cordially,

Hello VLOCT

I'm glad to hear that my solution for the links in your Custom Panels worked out fine.

So if I get your new request right, you'd like to add a custom background to your navigation menu, is that correct? In this case, you wouldn't work with a Custom Panel Widget because this widget can only be applied to the content area of your pages, i.e. below your navigation menu.

However, it may be possible to achieve the result you desire by using custom CSS code. If you have Yola Silver or Yola Gold, please post your domain name or login e-mail address (no password), and I'll be happy to see what I can do for you. Please also let me know the code of the colour you want for your Custom Panel. It would probably be best if you leave one Custom Panel Widget somewhere on a page with the settings you'd like to have, so that I can try to translate those formattings to CSS code for you.
