Theres always a right man (or women) for the job and your that person.

I have been having a play around with my home page... with the aim of getting people clicking more links and the ability for a business to pay for advertsing - You see on the left i have 'featured' - i can not for the life of me get that 'new' gif to sit next to the text -- if i add it straight it makes the box bigger, adding padding to the top of the image does nothing either.

The only way you can get the box to stay the same size is to float the image to the right - but it looks a little off.

Any help would be great.

Lee.

Hi Lee!

If you take out the float:right and inside the image tag put align=absmiddle - it should work.

Hey Lee

This is what I did to make it work for me:

In your img src, take out the margin: 4px; padding: 0px;
Change the float: right; to float: top;

Let me know if this didn't work for you.

Hey Lee give this a try if LittleMiss' doesn't work for you...

Upload this edited image to your file manager... I added 3px in height to center it more (editing animated gifs is so much fun ;) Of course click on the image to save it as the animated version ;)

And try this code in a HTML widget: ( I added spaces to before the word Feature to bring it to center...

</div></div></div></div></td><td id="Right_I2397" style="vertical-align: top; width: 50%;"><div id="I2408" style="display: block; clear: both;" class="Text_Default"><div id="I2408_sys_txt" class="sys_txt" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><table style="width: 189px; height: 26px;" align="center" bgcolor="#3b5998" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"> <tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center; text-decoration: none;"><font size="3"><span style="text-decoration: none; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><font style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><a style="text-decoration: none; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" href="http://hexham.info/advanced-taxis.php...; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; FEATURED</a></font></span> <img id="I6466_img" src="resources/oie_overlay6.gif" style="border: medium none ;"></font></td> </tr></tbody></table> <div id="I1520" style="display: block; text-align: center;" class="Image_Default"><a href="business.php"> </a><div class="centerdiv"> <script type="text/javascript"> //new fadeshow(IMAGES_ARRAY_NAME, slideshow_width, slideshow_height, borderwidth, delay, pause (0=no, 1=yes), optionalRandomOrder) new fadeshow(fadeimages7, 189, 144, 0, 9000, 1, "R") </script>

If that don't work well hmmm I dunno maybe play around with the code a bit.

Happy site building
Ed
