Hi Stacy,

If you are experiencing problems loading your site in the Sitebuilder, something you can try is clearing your cache. Take a look at this link for more information: http://www.google.com/support/account.... This usually resolves the problem.

Regarding your query about why your site is not on any search engines, this is probably because it is still being indexed.

Search engines have extremely large indexes which hold a copy of all of the webpages they have crawled and chosen to add to their index. The search engine spider crawls through the web, following links, and when it finds a page to add, it will make a copy of it, and add it to its index. When this has happened to your site, you can consider it as having been "indexed". It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for a site to be indexed, and the process must take place for every new website. Your site will only show up in search results after it has been indexed.

Take a look at this link for some information about how to promote your site, and to help with the indexing process: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article....

I hope this helps! Let us know if you encounter any other problems!

Hi Stacy,

I have tested the Sitebuilder on my side and I am not experiencing any problems, so here are some other things you can try, which should resolve the problem you're having:

1. Check that you are using an updated version of Flash, click on this link: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507....
2. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: http://www.google.com/support/websear....
3. Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: http://www.google.com/support/websear....
4. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).
5. Try loading the site on a different computer or network if possible.

Please let us know if these steps helped!

Hi Stacy

Thanks for checking and testing all the suggestions Justine has given you. Can you please describe what didn't work? :

  • Did you get any error messages along the way? If so, please paste the messages here so we can investigate further.

  • Which browsers and versions did you test in?

  • Did you test on a different network?

  • Is it possible the network was behind a firewall?

We would like to help you load your website, but as we are unable to replicate the problem, we need more details from you.

Thank you
Nazlie

Hi Nazlie,

I m using IE version 8.0 to do the testing.

I did not make any changes on the setting on IE so far which i used it to create my website with yola.

However, when I used a different network to do testing, no problem on sitebuilder.

Is there anything which i could check for the network issue?

The following is the webpage error details:

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; MATP; .NET4.0C; BRI/1; InfoPath.2)

Hello,
If I am understanding correctly, it sounds to me like the Sitebuilder is not working for you on one network, but working fine on another network; this sounds to me like some ISP caching. I would say the best thing to do at this point is to contact your ISP and see if they are able to assist at all with why you are having trouble accessing something from your network. Let us know how this goes for you.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
