Loading problems

I've published my site and put the Intensedebate comment html code on my pages.
But when I try to edit a page that has that html code in it, it doesn't finish loading. I can't see the texts, or the pictures, and I can't add new widgets.

When you go to the page itself, it loads fine. It's just in the site builder that this happens.

I would still like to look at the page to see what the problem might be, I would like to see how it functions and how the code looks. Did the problem just start when you added the IntenseDebate code? Is there other custom code on the page?

I haven't been able to resolve this issue yet.
The problem started when I added the code, yes.
The other custom code on the page is the rating widget.

Maybe the problem is that I used the a single HTML for both codes, the code for the comment count link and the code for the comments.

weeeeeeeeeeeeee..... at least i wasn't on me own. lol the way that i sorted it out was clearing my cache. and the person that told me that was littleus. so try clearing your cache and your browsing history. that helped for me!!

Tried it, but it didn't work. Thanks anyway.

By the way, the only things that appear when I try to load the page builder is the YouTube video, the rating widget (sometimes) and the comments' html codes. Basically, every html except the rest.

I made some experiments with pages to see if there was anything wrong with the code for the comments.
I tried to re-write some stuff, but the loading still blocked.

Just tried to open the site builder on Internet Explorer (the latest version). It works!
But if the code still doesn't allow me to edit the page on Firefox, how can I trust it? Is it corrupt or what?
I hope this gets fixed soon. Until then, I hope I can work in the two browser simultaneously. I also hope the comments are safe and working.

Please, tell me what you think of this.

EDIT: I noticed something else. When I edit a text box on Internet Explorer, when I open the site builder in Firefox, the text is slightly changed. For example, some empty paragraphs disappear.

EDIT: Never mind, I discovered the problem with the disappearing paragraph. Turns out I have to write this on the html of the text ( ). The strange part is that IE doesn't pay much attention to that detail.

I ma trying to open my sites, it loads on to the desktop, up to the point where i can see them, 4 in all,i click on one of them to open for edditting, and after i click it keeps loading for ever, without stopping, i have to cancell start again and the same cycle is happening again and again.

Hi John,
I'm sorry you are having trouble loading your site in the Site Builder. Can you do a few things for me and then give it another try:

1. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.

2. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.

3. Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: Enable Javascript.

4. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). We would suggest using the Firefox browser as this browser seems to work best in the Yola environment. It is a free download if you would like to give it a try: Download Firefox.

Please let me know if you are still having trouble after trying these suggestions and I will further assist.

no change went through all 5 suggested steps, spend lots of time to do it and still have the same problem, i cannot access any of my yola websites for adding or edditting.

Tonight it will be going into day 4 that my yola websites dont load for edditing or adding, stiil you are asking me
what site(s) i am having problems with ?
This is the third time i have sent yola an e mail with the name of my sites, and again i am told you cant find me
in your records, here we go again, ny e-mail address is joop202020@yahoo.com ,

the above are the 4 websites registered with yola , still going into the 4th day none of them are loading for edditing, or adding or changing content.
when i try to open them for edditing, it keeps loading and loading, none stop.
When i explained this problem to you 5 suggestions were recommended, none of them solved the problem.
Now we are going into the 4th day with the same problems.
You have no phone i have spend hours repeating the same problem to different yola representatives, to only being told
"cant find your records" my name is john middelkoop.
my websites provided 3 times, my email address has been included every time, what more do you need me to tell you to find my records ?

I do have 2 websites with other servers and have no problem at all with those sies.
How can you help me ? urgent please i wish you had a phone , maybe it wouldn't drag out for day,s.
It is frustrading,

Hi John,
I have done a search on your email address and do see that a few different support people have worked with you. The last support request I see is one Marije answered on Nov. 27th, but I do not see any after that. Are you possibly sending from another email address than joop202020@yahoo.com.

I do definitely see that you have an account with four sites in it. I have been able to open your Site Builders and the sites are there, so I would like to help you troubleshoot why you are not able to open them. Can you tell me what suggestions you have tried, you said you there were five? Have you possibly tried opening your Site Builder from another computer?

i tried to open the site builder from a computer at work today, same results, a few times it opened to the point where i can see all 4 websites, as soon i click on one of them it starts all over again, loading forever util yola window pops up, where it indicates to terll yola about the problem and i see the comment "we will fix it right away" this is almost 4 day later and i am still in the same jam.
i cleared the browsers catc
i indicated to accept cookies from yola,
java script is enabled,
I downloaded fire fox,
i cant find the down load, no shortcuts on my desktop,checked my programs and dont find fire fox anywhere, i realy dont want to dwel on that fire fox to much, i like to be able to add amazon products, and remove out of date black friday products asap, i am onthis way to long, as mensioned before i have 2 more websites with others and no problem, when will i be able to make progress again ??

i did not report problems through my email, i signed into the yola sight, dodnt know accactly where i reported from, but it was through the yola site somehow.

Hi John,

Thank you for the info that you have given us so far. I really understand your frustration regarding this issue and I am sorry about this.

I have gone through all four of your sites and tested all pages and was able to open the sites. All pages were editable as well. The reason we are unable to
resolve this problem, is because we are unable to replicate the problem.

Being unable replicate the problem, makes resolving the problem very very difficult. Until I can replicate the problem, I am unable to resolve it or offer you a solution.

I have tested your sites using Firefox 3.5.5, can you tell me which browser you are using and take it from there?

This indicates the problem is on your side.

My browsers havent changed for the last year, the same browser as the time it did work.

This is day 4 still no yola website access for adding or edditing.

just received an email from yola, "follow this link" for comment ????

i see nothing and still have the same problem.

i wish you had a phone available, i like to phone you and find out why you can not fix the yola websites , still cant load them .

Did your engineer check it out yet like you metioned this morning ?

Hi John

I must confess that we are a bit stumped by the problem at this time. Our engineers have been looking at it but so far no one has been able to replicate. All of us have been able to open all your sites in a variety of browsers, including IE8. Until the engineers can replicate an error they cannot fix it.

From the error message you posted it seems like it could be a combination of network configuration and a specific browser version (IE8). This is what is making it so tricky to diagnose on our end as we do not have your exact network settings.

Can you confirm for me that you have definitely tried to open your sites in Firefox, or on a different network entirely with no success? It is really important that we are absolutely sure that you have done this. We really want to resolve this problem and we will keep working on it until we can find the cause.

Hi John,

As per your email, you mentioned that you uninstalled IE8 and installed IE7 and this fixed the issue. I am going to mark this as resolved. If the issue does reoccur, please let us know.

Hi yola representatives, you have done an outstanding job, getting my websites going again, it was the perfect solution, you suggested to change back from windows explorer 8 to 7, and that is working perfect
