Hi TimothyA

Yola does not currently offer a membership login feature. It is something that we are hoping to add in future versions of our Sitebuilder.

However, it is possible to make a page or part of your site be private and visitors will need to sign in to access it.

Please take a look at the tutorial on Adding Password Protection which gives you the steps for adding a private page to your site. You can even make your whole website private, using this feature.

I hope you give it a try to see if it works for you. If you need any help or have questions, please let us know. Happy Sitebuilding!

Thank you
Nazlie

Hello! Right now Yola desn't have a feature like this where people can sign up and login and stuff. But, what they do have is a page protection feature.

What this does

- It lets you set one password for people to get into the pages
- It lets you Pick which pages to be password protected

What this doesn't do

- This does not allow your visitors to sign in / create an account.

Here are the steps to add this to your site:

1. Go to the site builder

2. Next to the drop down list of pages there is "Site Manager" Click that.

3. Now, under all of your pages it says "Site password protection"

Here's a screen shot:

4. Click that

5. Now a dialog box will appear. There you can set the login (Which is Username) and the password for the page protection feature. Also in that dialog box, you can see a list of your pages. Check the pages you want to password protect and then after you are done click "OK"

Here is a screen shot of the dialog box:

6. You'll have to Publish your website for the page protection feature to work on your published site.

I hope this information is helpful!

If you need help with any of this, please do no hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Nathan

No problem. It would be cool if there was some indicator saying somebody else is adding a reply. It probably wouldn't be considered though by GS because it would be hard to create and if there are 3 people adding a reply it might mess something up.
