Hello everyone,

It's time! At 4:45 pm PST, we will be disabling logins so that we can introduce you to our new Site Builder! For information on when this will be taking place in your time zone, please click here: World Clock

This will take a bit of time. We're expecting downtime to be approximately 90 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience but we hope that you'll be pleased with the results!

For more information on what's going to be taking place, please read this exciting post by Rian - Coming next week: The site builder learns some new tricks!

Keep an eye on this thread for updates!

well, hopefully it's good changes. And as you say, "new sitebuilder", I'm guessing there's going to be a "BIG difference?"

Hello Lambofgod,
We are running a bit behind, just getting ready to disable logins in a little bit. Looking at about 15 more minutes. We will then be disabled for around 90 minutes. Sorry for the wait!

Actually we have only been down for an hour! Check Laura's comment higher on this thread, posted an hour ago. The release is moving ahead as planned and we hope to be back as soon as possible. However, please note that any times given are estimates only. If the estimate changes we will let you know.

yea, but apparently they were running behind, from what I can tell, it doesn't appear they've been down for 3 hours, I think only about an hour right?

We are now approaching 90 minutes since we disabled logins. We have found a few minor new bugs in our final round of testing, which means we may be down a little longer than expected. But we will do our best to bring back the new site builder as soon as possible!

Thank you for your patience.

Hi everyone

Just wanted to give you a quick update. We are currently testing the changes to make sure everything works the way it should. This is a very important part of the process so we definitely don't want to rush it!

We're getting close though, so I expect us to be able to turn logins back on within the next 30 minutes, if not sooner.

Thanks for your patience! Once we're live I'll be back to post a detailed update about all the changes.

To quote my late Mother... "Patience is seldom found in a woman but never in a man" She said it in a humorous manner and was not really serious but during an upgrade it makes total sense... LOL

It seems I am waiting for news on one of my inventions tomorrow and now an upgrade as well on the sitebuilder. What fun it is not being able to sleep... LOL

I have a different question? Can I transfer my registered website to Yola and get free web-hosting for a start.

Hi there Jumla,
Unfortunately we only host sites built with Yola. You cannot transfer another website to a Yola account. You can however use a domain bought elsewhere on a website you built with Yola. If this is what you are wanting to do, please let us know.
