Hello,

I just got notice that my website will expire in 3 months. I'm not sure if I want to keep using the yola system. If the website goes down, will I lose the gmail business email account linked to it? I own the domain, right?

Thank you.

Regards,

Zahra

Hi Zahra,

Your gmail account will continue for as long as your domain is current. This is how I'm using an email account currently.

Hello Zahra

Would you mind sharing with us why you're not sure whether to go on with Yola? Are you missing anything, or do you have questions or problems that we could assist you with?

Hello Stefan,

I started two websites (one is a wordpress site), and feel the .com one suits my international expansion better - the Yola one is .co.uk. Also, I couldn't afford the different Yola templates and fees last year, so I went with a more professional-looking free wordpress template with a separate host. Plus I've been advised not to rely too much on one company to provide everything, no offence.

I might be building a yola website for my father's business soon - I like the simple interface - but I no longer need mine. He doesn't need anything too fancy, so it'll be right for him. My business is still new, so I want something more impressive-looking.

Thanks for the offer, though. If I hear about anyone who needs a website, I'll definitely refer them to the Yola/Google venture that provides free websites to businesses in the UK.

Regards,

Zahra
