So my friends and partners in website building...

Just recently I had a separation from a young lady who had spoke so highly of my site while we were together but just last night spoke of it with such disdain that I was simply taken aback with her flippant comments.

She had said that it looked to her so unprofessional and toy like and in her eye not good...

Now oddly that is the look I was trying for. Well minus the unprofessional and not good part but definitely child like in quality and a unique. Something different from the norm and not boring.

I know that I am surely never going to be done with it but I feel that I need not worry about major content or layout changes for a while. Some descriptions on the furniture and maybe some additions and eliminations there as well but all in all I believe that for under $10 spent it has become something to be proud of. I know it's not done by a professional but a person has to do with what is available him or her at the moment.

Sadly her comments made me a bit on the lacking in judgment side of the fence and thus is the reason I ask you all for your thoughts now.

So I put it to you... What do you think??? I'll take a little informal survey here.

Love it, Like it or Hate it

Oh yeah because every post here is googled and shows up in the results I don't want my website to be listed in this post so please click on my bear icon and my website will be under the image.

Thanks in advance

Ed

Love it man - incase you forgot.

My wife say's she's gonna leave me if I continue
spending so much time here - Hell I'm gonna miss her.

Just kidding, but you know what I mean.

BTW, I still can't get those links of the chairs to work from my side.
Even tried from work using FF and IE on a different connection.
The only way I can go to childrenschairs.com is to view their cached site in Google. Do you think it's a "region" thing ?

Ed, I think we might be a little positively biased towards your site :-) We think it's great.

I think it's great. Big love it from me! I think the comments your are referring to may have more basis in spite, than in reality. :)

Forgot to say, that if I lived near you and had an extra bucketload of cash lying around your site would totally inspire me to get my kid a playhouse - heck I'm thinking of moving just so I can get one!

Methinks every site out there has to have a layout and look
that is relevent to the product that is being offered on that site.
I think http://www.honeybearplayhomes.com/ captures it's target
market perfectly. Hit's the nail on the ed (I mean head).

I've just turned your informal survey into a poll.
Hope you don't mind Ed.

Vote for Ed.

Please don't take offence Boomer, but ed, do you want this comment removed since it gives your URL and I know you were trying to avoid that given the nature of your initial comments?

Also deleted the stupid poll I started on my home page.
Was just having a little bit of fun - trying to be too clever
once again.

No, no, no, it's alright really

I simply don't want it to be in the google search is all because I suppose it's a little personal but if it's too late it's ok...

Don't have a cow man...

Now I feel bad for making you feel bad Boomer

It ain't but a thing

Please explain,
Maybe this is a dumb question?
Is there a difference between having a link
in a pic to having a normal link.

I do believe that it has to do with the mere mention of something.

I type "supper dupper trooper" and if someone types that say next week then because this forum itself is crawled my typing it will show up as a responce.

If you had typed in your URL here then try to google it and you are likely to see it in the list somewhere. It does take a while to actually appear on google but it will someday be there...

well they are a offshoot of the main site and are included pages with toys for the parents ranging from bedroom sets and furniture to garden fountains and outdoor seating. There will be jewelry boxes and curio cabinets to pool tables and leather recliners...

Basically a smorgasbord of things that they can get themselves.

Not too much though because I have so many other things to do and such short time...
