Hey Guys great stuff you got here! I'm having a bit of trouble & would just like to ask if Mac OSX 10.4.11 is a workable platform? I'm also running Camino browser 1.6.4. Many of the functions don't appear to work for me - just curious...
Thanks Lee Taylor

Hi leetaylor,

All of the SynthaSite staff use Macs, so it is certainly a workable platform. The problem you are having may be due to the browser that you are running. SynthaSite works best in Firefox.

RUTH - thanks so much for the response. What I'm actually trying to do is utilize Lightbox(JS) in SynthaSite without Flickr. I can make the Flickr Lightbox gallery work (imleetayloratgmaildotcom.synthasite.com) but I'm trying to figure out how to place the JS & CSS files into the SynthaSite html file structure & I can't seem to get a grip on how the directory is laid out or even how to place those files (except in the file manager bin) which doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Lee

Hi Lee,
It's not possible to edit the CSS of your site at this time. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you in that regard.

Ruth - OK. Got it with the CSS - can't deviate from the default. No problem.
But the JS if it's embedded in the HTML should work (if all the elements are present within the file manager bin) Correct? I mean it's referencing the photos from Flickr but it should be running the JS from SynthaSite - at least that makes sense to me. I've been wrong before (I might add) & I'm not a coder - just trying to get a handle on the scheme of things... ;-)
Thanks so much!

Hi Lee

You can add Javascript to the HTML editor to create a gallery if all the resources are in your file manager. Right now all files you upload are placed in your "resources" subdirectory.

We are working on some big improvements to our file manager that will make this a whole lot easier in future. In the meantime you seem to be on the right track if you are up for the challenge.

Hey, I know you dude! Sup bra? I see you found synthasite and GS. I knew you'd like it. Glad to see you're working diligently on our project. Give me a call and let me know your ETA... guess we're doing happy-hour instead of lunch?
Ciao, Guido
