Mac, Entourage & Yola ... not working!

Anyone know how to get Entourage to work with yola domain? error message says "server name or IP address does not match name or IP address on server certificate." Thanks in advance for your help! Ingrid

Hello Ingrid

I am not familiar with Entourage but you should be able to add your Yola Mail by adding the pop or imap settings for your incoming server and the smtp address for your outgoing server. You can find the information for both on your Yola Mail page. Please note that the smtp address should be:
mail.b.hostedemail.com

Thanks Sanja. Yes, I'm using the settings on my Yola Mail page. SMTP as you gave it. Not working. Is it possible to enquire from someone at Yola who is familiar with Entourage? I am rather stuck still. Thanks in advance!

I'm not on the DNS team, but I have had this problem with setting up email too. Please try using this in your SMTP field: mail.b.hostedemail.com.
Let us know if it does not solve your email issue.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been liaising with our engineers to try and get to the bottom of your problem.

Is there anyway that you could ignore the error that you are receiving with regard to the certificate?

You could also try the non-ssl option.

Jackie, thank you so much! Strangely I ignored it once or twice before by clicking cancel, but I'd then close the application. This time I canceled about 5 times and that seemed to do the trick...weird, but it works, so I'm happy. Thanks again.
