Hi, I asked a question earlier and it was marked as answered so I was not sure if I wrote on it again if anyone would look at it. In my last question I asked if I could change a page and make it an index page. One more question, the page I now want to be my index page is a blog page. The save button never highlights on the blog page for me to click on it and do save as. Any help is much appreciated!

Hey Katie,

You can't save blog pages as different names.
The reason I'm not sure of.
However, you can change a new, blank blog page into your homepage.

Sorry about that.

John,

Thanks for letting me know. Looks like the pages will stay the way they they were.

Hi Katie

John is correct. It is not possible to change your developed blog page into your homepage.

But if you wish to start again, these are the steps to turn your existing homepage into a basic blog page on your website.

1. If you would like to keep the current index page, click on the down-arrow next to "Save" and select "Save As" to save the page with a new name.
2. Click on "New Page".
3. Name the page "index" and select the "Blog Page" option.

You will get a message telling you that your index page already exists and asking if you want to overwrite it. Say "yes". This will replace your current index page with a blog page and your site will start on your blog page.

Thanks but both pages have tons of stuff and I really do not want to recreate them. If anything ever changes, I will be the first one to try it.
