Making tabs appear the same in different browsers

Can any users or staff tell me how to make tab spacing come out the same in different browsers? For example, a simple table, with left hand entry and right hand entry: in Firefox the right hand entries do not line up vertically, probably because of partial tabs coming off the left hand entry. For example, http://psychedelictreehouse.synthasit... looks fine in Safari but RH side is jumbled in Firefox.

Hi Bengo,

Browsers tend to display content differently when spaces or tabs are used to space out text. The best solution to display your table of contents would be to use a table or our two column layout widget.

To display your table of contents properly on all browsers you can do the following:
- use the two column layout widget so that your page can be separated into 2 sections
- drag-and-drop a text widget into the left column so that you can add your text eg. James Roden of Requiem. Add all your links onto this text widget. You can add different items on new lines by pressing Enter.
- drag-and-drop a text widget into the right column. This column will be used to list the page numbers for the corresponding text on the left column.
- you can then drag the middle vertical line of the column widget to increase the width of the left column.

I hope this helps.

Warm Regards,
Kershnee

I was initially resistant to the column tool because it forces me to break each link into two, but if that's the best solution, I can live with it. I have started changing the tables already: http://psychedelictreehouse.synthasit...

Thanks for the help.

Hello Abdullah
