Grrr... the Margins editor is not working! Everytime I input a number (except 0), it removes it straight away, making the editor absoultly useless!

EDIT: Using Google Chrome!

Hey Andi,

I can definitely see your frustration.

When you type in a number, it just takes it out right away?

I'm using Google Chrome too and I'm not having that trouble, could you post your site's URL?

What is the margin for? (i.e. text widget, picture widget, column divider, etc.)

I hope we can get this problem solved soon.

Yes, takes it right out.

URL: www.whereto.yolasite.com (I even refreshed the page)

I have Firefox, and it works there, so it is not too bad.

Margin for both Column Divider and Picture.

I hope we can get this fixed too...

Hello Andi

This does sound frustrating! I'm wondering if you could please try updating your Flash and Java to see if that helps?

Chrome auto updates the Flash, and my Java is upto date. The Margin editor works on Firefox. I have just tried again and it still isn't working.

As far as I know, everything else works in Chrome (Yola wise).

Do you have Chrome up to date? I use Google Chrome and it isn't doing that for me, which is wierd.

P.S Your site is awesome! I like the little text where it changes and points every where, it is very awesome!

My chrome is the latest version (version 10.0.648.119). All Synched and working. The last time I used the margin editor, it worked fine but, this was approximately before the site builder update.

Thanks for the feedback, the text is an animated gif image.

Hello Andi

Can you please let us know if this is happening on a particular page? Do you mind if I try to see if I can replicate the issue in your Sitebuilder?

Hello Andi

I'm sorry but I am not seeing what you mean? Can you please give me step-by-steps instructions so that I can try to replicate what you're seeing? Thanks!

I think Andi means when you click on the little 'margin' on the text widget or picture widget and you try to type in your own number for the top (instead of using the slider) and when Andi types in a number it deletes it out right away.

Also Sanja are you using Chrome? Andi said it only doesn't work in Chrome.

Hi Nathan and Andi,

I have tested in Chrome and the margins seem to work. Could you please take a screenshot of what you see when you try to change your margins?

Many thanks for working with us on this.

Hello Andi - thanks for posting the screenshot. I've tried to replicate the same issue in Chrome and the margins change without the same thing happening for me. I see that you've added some custom CSS to the page - would you be able to create a new page that has not had the CSS added and see if the same problem occurs? Could you also let us know the operating system you are using.

It happens to all of my sites on my account and on another account I have. It will not be the Custom CSS...

Does it happen in other browsers or in Chrome on another computer? Can you disable any addons or anti-virus that you may have installed to check whether that helps at all?

I have not installed any new anti-virus or Add-Ons to Chrome.

I did install the latest version of Google Chrome, and that may have something to do with it.

It DOES NOT happen in Firefox, Opera or IE9.

Hi Andi

I have just tested your Sitebuilder in the latest version of Chrome on my computer and I am unable to replicate the problem you've described.

Is there any chance that you have an add-on that could be causing problems in your Sitebuilder? One other thing you can do is to clear the browser's cache to see if it resolves the problem.

Please let us know if the problem persists.

Thank you
Nazlie

I have removed all Add-Ons (Extensions) and I have cleared my cache, browsing history and passwords.

Any other ideas? It is such a problem as I have Firefox that I can use for Margins but, it is a pain in the back side when I have to constantly change between the two!

Unfortunately in order to fix a bug we have to replicate it. I have also tried in the latest version of Chrome and it works for me as well. So unless other users complain of the same issue and provide additional info, or unless we can replicate it, we cannot report this as our engineers will have nothing to go on. My only suggestion at this time is that you edit your site in Firefox. However, we will keep an eye out for anyone experiencing the same problem and see if we can observe a pattern that will allow us to replicate the bug.

Yeah that's fine, I understand that you can not fix something that you know nothing about! I shall use Firefox for the margin stuff.
