Hello,
People will often try to make money from their content based websites with affiliate advertising. The idea behind this is getting lots of traffic to your site to read your content and then putting affiliate products or ads on there for your site visitors to click on.

A very popular affiliate marketing possibility is Google AdSense. You place Google ads on your pages and when they are clicked you make a profit.

You can place AdSense on your page by using the Google AdSense widget:

1. Open the Advertising folder and drag and drop the Adsense widget onto your page.
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the link in the dialogue box to sign up for an Adsense account if you don't already have one.
3. Once you've registered your account and customised your ad, copy the advertising code provided by Google.
4. Paste the code back in the dialogue box on your SynthaSite.
5. Click "OK".

There are other affiliate programs out there such as ClickBank that are popular as well.

I got you very clear Emmy.But what i was wanting was that how can i get my writings to the markets ,say to the associated press,to the BBC ,The voice of America e.t.c That is the nesspaers and magazines ,radio and television worldwide or at least the who broadcast African news 9or any other program mes aimed towards Africa .

Yours too was good advise .Please tell me how much about advertising and promotions is left after i finished with Google ad sense?

Google adsense is free. I have made an EST of around $60.00 a month. It depends on your traffic, page views. Sorry i don't share page views

I see what your question was now. Probably the best way to get your writings to those publications you spoke of is by doing some research into what types of writings they accept as well as what topics they tend to publish the most of. A majority of these publishers will have websites that discuss what their terms of submission are.

If you are looking to make money from your writing there are other options as well such as freelance writing. There are tons of websites on the Internet which post freelance writing jobs and information on this topic. Here is a good one: http://www.freelancewritinggigs.com/. Another really good website for freelance writing jobs is http://elance.com.
