Update your domain to .yolasite.com

When I log into my yola account, I get a message to "Update your domain to .yolasite.com"
I realize that this is a carry over from the synthasite days, but my domain is already pointing to .yolasite.com.

There is a "Check" button next to my sub-domain name.
When I click it, I get the message that the domain is unavailable.
This is not a real problem, just an annoyance, and it would be nice if I can get rid of this issue.

Thanks

Unpublish the site and redo with .Yolasite subdomain.
If you own a subdomain , I recommend you to keep the old subdomain untouched , because it may result in site's internal links failure.

Hello Pablo

I'm sorry that I did not see this thread earlier.

We are currently experiencing a problem with our subdomain database. Please be assured that this does not affect your published site. You can safely ignore the message to upgrade to a .yolasite.com address if you have already published your site to a .yolasite.com subdomain. In the meantime, our engineers are working on resolving the issue. We will let you know as soon as we have any further information.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.

Greetings. Just to clarify, you dont have to have yourdomainname.yolasite.com as the published address do you. My site appears to be working fine just as domainname.com (although I dont get much traffic). Is there a difference with having .yolasite.com included? ie do you get access to the "yola" network (if there is one) of users/shoppers? Thanks

Hello Earl

You are correct. This does not affect the top-level domains. Having a .yolasite will not make any difference. There is no "yola" network. If you need more traffic, I suggest checking out our tutorial on this: Getting more traffic to your site
