hi ethan,

can you show us the meta that you want to incorporate.

if it's being stripped by GS then wrap it in: <!-- {your tag} --> this is a little trick that reduces the likelihood that GS will try and interpret it as active code.

Ethan,

generally we don't have access to the head area of the page and that's where most metas have to be placed.

If it's a 'robot.txt' then we can't access it from the builder. It is a feature request and is under consideration.

There may be other ways to accommodate your need so if you can either post the meta or describe the situation it will be reviewed pretty quickly.

ethan, do you want to add a redirection?

you can add it to the main page, Was it a 301 or just a actual redirect to another page?
<!--
This is the accepeted redirect code when adding to the page body:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1; url=http://hexham.info">

-->

the content value 1 means 1 second before it redirects.

WARNING - PLEASE READ
Once this code is added to a page you will no longer beable to edit that page - the only way round it would be to delete the page - it redirects in the editor also. Edit it then add it, save the page and get out fast.

I hope this answers your question. If not just add a bit more info on what your trying to do.

Lee.
