Missing thumbnails and frames in slide shows

I have my images in flickr, and made my shows with flickrslidr

In Google Chrome when the show loads on my site, random thumbnails are missing below the show, and also random slide show frames are missing - and not necessarily the same images as the corresponding missing thumbnails.

I can reload the page and different ones will be missing. I can do this several times and get different missing images each time.

In FireFox 3.0 thumbs are randomly missing, but the show plays correctly.

In Internet Explorer 7 all thumbs and slides show, but I have trouble getting the controls and thumbs to show when moused over. Also ony in IE do I get a message that says I have to first click to activate the controls.

Any ideas on this?

I spent all day trying out many different show generators, and can't find on that is as clear as flickr, or doesn't have ads. I'd prefer to just straighten this out.

I know it's probably a flickr issue, but they never answer. There's so many talented and knowledgeable people here, I hope someone can help.

Hi guido,

I checked out your second page with the Flickr shows. with Chrome, safari & FF. I observed the same effect. I then went directly to your Flickr account and displayed the show direct. The same effect seen. (Surprisingly safari took quite a while to stabilise on the slide shows)

I then checked it again on your third page and both through your web page anbd direclty through flickr the same.

I think you're right that it's a Flickr issue.

On your carousel on your home page are you hosting the images or are they remotely hosted? I did notice a slight problem there as well in that there was at least one incomplete frame most times..
