I am totally happy with my yola service and the support is one of the best I have come across.
I Build sites for those who can't and do keep getting asked for more features on the mobile side of websites..
The yola mobile publisher is in desperate need for a great deal more options in the way of fonts, style, menu and more . .
I have mentioned this before and told that the idea is being looked into... come on support.. kick some butt and make the wizards out there do something about this immediately to bring it into line with the rest of the site building businesses out there.
Yola is stuck in the caves with this one am afraid... Time to do something now and realise there is a techy worls outside the cave here in 2013..

cheers guys..

Hello a1web UK

Thank you for your praise of Yola Support. We're excited to hear that you assist other Yola customers with building their websites.

You have a good point. The challenge is that we currently offer more than 100 Style Templates which are all very different from each other. For your mobile version there is just one Style which needs to cope with the presets of all Styles and your custom elements. So while Styles are generally responsive, i.e. they can adapt to different devices they're viewed on, custom elements, such as YouTube, Text or HTML Code Widgets with set dimensions can be a problem on smaller devices like smartphones. This is why we offer just one Mobile Style because we can ensure that it will work on a smartphone. We're considering to add a separate customizable Mobile Style to some particular Styles.

However, we're still at the beginning and it will take some time to further develop the features of Mobile Publishing. We hope for your patience that we need to not release a quick, flawed solution, but a thought-out and solid one. Thank you for your understanding and following up with us on this topic.

your right Stefan, we dont want a rushed job with endless flaws.

Aghh, but this is something that is required above a lot of other subjects to catch up with the rest of the site building companies.

Something newer will be out by the time yola help us catch up to 2013 mobile.
Yola customers are missing out on this great idea.

Come on guys.. take ya energy drinks and lets have this app sorted.. cheers. A1webuk.

I have been asking for an upgrade to the mobile publishing for months and told it was being looked into for months.
Yola's mobile publishing is back in the caveman days compared to all other sitebuilding hosts and I hate having to say this, but even Vistaprint have a better mobile publishing option.

MOBILE publishing upgrade is required because visitors today are mostly on mobiles and we need to be able to give them the best way to view our business sites.

So all the waiting to hopefully get an upgrade to the mobile publishing was put on hold to create the massive, untested txt editor mess to everyones sites which in many cases meant loss of earnings to a great deal of us.

Hello a1web UK

Thank you for following up with us on this. Developing further Mobile Publishing is definitely on our agenda, but it's not a quick thing to do. There are a lot of other updates which have priority at the moment, and we'll work on Mobile Publishing as soon as there is capacity.

Cheers for the reply Stefan.
I think a big point that's being missed is that it will soon be outdated and we yola customers will have missed out on presenting our sites to the present mobile users.

All i'm asking for is to be able to change fonts to more presentable ones because I have noticed the mobile publisher tends to show text in Ariel and quite basic, choppy and ametuerish.

not asking for any major fancy upgrade. . . just the one mobile publisher with all styles, but with a couple of added styling options.

cheers
