More documentation / online help needed for image uploads

To the Yola Team:

A number of users (including me) have run into similar (and frustrating) problems uploading and adding images. Stefan and other users have been very helpful, but this highlights the need for more online help and info.

Ideally these tips could be linked to the upload / add image menus and functions. If a user resizes a PNG or GIF image, for example, an alert could pop up -- warning that this will eliminate transparency settings and animation. The 'add one pixel' work-around could also be automated.

Hi Mark, thanks for your suggestion. Adding context-sensitive help is being considered as an addition to our product, but I am not able to provide a timeline for implementation. In the meantime, if you can point me to the forum thread that describes the information you had been looking for, I can definitely forward that on to our documentation specialists for review.

Thanks for your help!

Dear Jen: Thanks for the quick reply. There have been a series of posts about related image problems. Here are some from the past month:

In the mean time, while the Yola dev team is working on context sensitive help and improvements to image processing, it would be VERY helpful if a "Tips for adding images" document could be prominently posted on the Yola site. Stefan, a couple of your 'expert' users and I could probably provide the content -- to reduce the number of frustrated users.
