I know how to use hyperlinks I believe. But what I want to do is to link some text on one page to some text on another page, not just a link to the page where the text is that I am linking to. Is that possible please?

Hi debbym,

You could use anchor links to achieve the result you're looking for. Take a look at this tutorial for more information.

You can see a complete list of Yola tutorials here.

Thank you - this reads as if you cannot do anchor links on separate pages. Is that correct please?

Hi debbym,

If you would like to have an anchor link open to a specific area on a different page you can do so as follows:

1. Drag and drop an HTML Widget (it looks like a blue sphere) onto the page you want to link from. Add this code, just the bit between the <!-- and -->, to the HTML Widget:

<!--

<a href="mypage.php#anchor">link</a>

-->

(with "mypage" being the page you want to link to). Click "Save."
2. On the page you want to link to, drag and drop another HTML Widget to the area you want the link to jump to and add this code to it: Click "Save."

Your link on the first page will then link to the area you added the code to.
