Hi Seaview Flowers

Perhaps you're wanting to create a scrolling text marquee?

Here is a simple scrolling text marquee you can add to your site. Drag over an HTML widget and paste in the following code:

<div align="center"><FONT face="verdana" color="#ffffff" size="+1">
<MARQUEE bgcolor="#000080" direction="right" width="75%">
<STRONG>This is cool!</STRONG>
</MARQUEE></FONT></div>

You can change the following:

Font face - replace "verdana" with a web-friendly font such as Arial, Times New Roman

color - replace #ffffff with the hex value number of the color you want.

size - can use numbers 1 -5 (the biggest)

bgcolor - this is the background color of the the box

direction - you can use either "right" or "left"

width - refers to the length of the box.

Replace the text "This is cool!" with your own text.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this or if this does not answer your question.

Thanks for that...

Is it possible to slow the writing down and make the "Text" merge/through into the background making the background see-through..?

It does work John :) Just to clarify, you need to remove the # first! It would look like this: bgcolor="0"

HI Seaview Flowers

You can simply remove bgcolor="#000080" from the code. Just make sure that the text color is not the same as your background color in the style you're using - otherwise you won't see your text show up. :)

I have a little question about this, but this might not be possible... Can the "TEXT" be repeated constantly, so that it doesn't have to wait for the "TEXT" to disappear before starting again?

Hi Seaview Flowers

This particular code does not allow for the text to be repeated constantly. If you can leave this with me for a bit, I may be able to scrounge something up for you. :)
