Moving Images to right spot on page

How can I move an image to the right spot on the page? When I load it, it just goes to the top of the column and I can't move it. I am using the column divider with the copy in the left column and the picture in the right.
Is there also a way to place an image on the page without using the column dividers?

Hello,

I'm sorry you are frustrated and would like to help. A great way to put text and images next to each other, and arrange a page, is to use the Two Column Widget. You can drag it onto the page and put and Image Widget on one side and a Text Widget on the other, as well as adjust the columns using the divider.

If this doesn't work for you, can you give us a link to your site so that we can take a look at what it looks like now, then if you could give us some specifics of how you would like it to look we can give you some suggestions.

Thanks, Emmy. I've done that. My problem is that I can't get the image to move from the very top of the page to further down where I want it. I'd be very happy if you would check it out, but I also want to know how to do it myself as I also want to integrate an image on another page.
Specifically, I want the book cover to come down about one book length.
Thanks so much!

Hello maridelbowes

Emmy is currently offline. I hope you don't mind me stepping in on her behalf.

I am not able to see what's going on through the link you sent. Without having seen your site, I can offer this suggestion:

You can move your widgets around your page by clicking on the green bar on the top of the widget and dragging it until you see a green line - you can then drop the widget and it will appear at its new location..

You can also place your widget exactly on your page using the following methods.

1. You can use one of our layouts that we offer ( the layouts tab is in the top left-hand corner of the site builder) to correctly position your widgets. See: Selecting the page layout.

2. You can add blank HTML widgets to your page as blank spaces to help position your widgets more accurately. You can add as many of these:

to elongate it which will create blank spaces to help position your widget. You can also add a text widget with 'spaces' in it (and no text). You can use a combination of the above to get your widgets correctly placed and aligned to your satisfaction.

If this does not help, can you please post your site URL and we can take a closer look. Your URL would look like this: http://yoursite.yolasite.com. If have not yet published your site, feel free to email us at support@yola.com and we can assist you further from there as well.
