I can play the mp3 music players on my own computer (although one player does not load it is normal when I refresh the page) however, when others using IE visit this same web page, it keeps asking to upload Windows Media Player, but they already have it loaded; so it won't play. I am using the Simple Console Player as instructed on the Tutorial page. this is the page you can visit http://www.alvinleong.hk/forum.php
thanks. Alvin

Hi Alvin,

I've opened the page in Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 and even though Windows Media Player is installed, it still asks me to install plugins to be able to play the music. Once installed, I'm able to play the music. This is a browser-related issue and if you prefer that it doesn't happen, you would need to change the media player you are using.

We do give other options on our page (http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...) such as the Odeo player which might suit your needs.

Hi Alvin,
One media player I have seen recently is the Yahoo Music Player, fit's very seamlessly into any site and looks slick.

Hello Alvin

If you wish to use Connor's suggestion, here are the steps:

1. Upload your music files into your File Manager.
2. Drag over an HTML Widget and type in the following code:
<!--<a href="http://yoursite.yolasite.com/resource... text goes here</a>-->

Replace the following:
* "yoursite.yolasite.com" with your site URL
* "musicfile.mp3" with the name of your music file
You will need to add a new a href code for each of your music files.
3. Drag over another HTML Widget, and add this code:
<!--<script type="text/javascript" src="http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/js">&lt;...>
4. Click on "OK".
5. Save and republish your site.

* Please do not include the <!-- and -->. They are there to stop the code from rendering on this post.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.
